Ezéchiel 20.9

Mais j'ai agi à cause de mon nom, afin de ne pas le profaner aux yeux des nations au milieu desquelles ils étaient, aux yeux desquelles je m'étais fait connaître à eux, en les faisant sortir du pays d'Égypte.
Mais ce que je les ai tirés hors du pays d'Egypte, je l'ai fait pour l'amour de mon Nom, afin qu'il ne fût point profané en la présence des nations parmi lesquelles ils étaient, et en la présence desquelles je m'étais donné à connaître à eux.

Segond 21 mais j'ai agi à cause de mon nom, afin qu'il ne soit pas déshonoré aux yeux des nations parmi lesquelles ils se trouvaient. En effet, c’était sous leurs yeux que je m’étais fait connaître à eux pour les faire sortir d'Egypte.
