Cette fois... tout de bon ; le temps des menaces est passé ; celui de l'exécution commence.

Pour qu'on les atteigne. Plusieurs traduisent : de façon qu'ils apprennent à trouver (leur Dieu). Le sujet serait dans ce cas : les Israélites. mais nous croyons plus naturel d'envisager comme le sujet : les ennemis de Juda. Ils finiront par atteindre leur proie (l'assiégée du verset 17).
