כִּ֣י כֹ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֶל־הָֽעַמֻּדִ֔ים וְעַל־הַיָּ֖ם וְעַל־הַמְּכֹנ֑וֹת וְעַל֙ יֶ֣תֶר הַכֵּלִ֔ים הַנּוֹתָרִ֖ים בָּעִ֥יר הַזֹּֽאת׃

Colonnes... Nébucadnetsar avait déjà enlevé du temple tout ce qui était d'or et d'argent ; il n'y restait plus que les vases et objets d'airain.

Jérémie assure au peuple que les ustensiles de bronze du temple, devaient également être transportés à Babylone, comme l'avaient été les objets en or.

Le prophète conclut ce texte par une merveilleuse promesse : le temps viendra où tous ces ustensiles reviendront à Jérusalem.

Malgré le fait que le retour à la prospérité spirituelle de l'église ne soit pas encore manifeste de nos jours, nous ne devons pas désespérer : Dieu fera prospérer Son église au temps marqué !

      15 For he fashioned the two pillars of brass, eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits encircled either of them about.
      16 He made two capitals of molten brass, to set on the tops of the pillars: the height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits.
      17 There were nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.
      18 So he made the pillars; and there were two rows around on the one network, to cover the capitals that were on the top of the pillars: and he did so for the other capital.
      19 The capitals that were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily work, four cubits.

      13 and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars.

      19 The captain of the guard took away the cups, the fire pans, the basins, the pots, the lampstands, the spoons, and the bowls; that which was of gold, in gold, and that which was of silver, in silver.
      20 They took the two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made for the house of Yahweh. The brass of all these vessels was without weight.
      21 As for the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a line of twelve cubits encircled it; and its thickness was four fingers. It was hollow.
      22 A capital of brass was on it; and the height of the one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of brass: and the second pillar also had like these, and pomegranates.
      23 There were ninety-six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates were one hundred on the network all around.
