Jérémie 52.7

וַתִּבָּקַ֣ע הָעִ֗יר וְכָל־אַנְשֵׁ֣י הַמִּלְחָמָ֡ה יִבְרְחוּ֩ וַיֵּצְא֨וּ מֵהָעִ֜יר לַ֗יְלָה דֶּ֜רֶךְ שַׁ֤עַר בֵּין־הַחֹמֹתַ֙יִם֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־גַּ֣ן הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְכַשְׂדִּ֥ים עַל־הָעִ֖יר סָבִ֑יב וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ דֶּ֥רֶךְ הָעֲרָבָֽה׃
Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans were against the city all around;) and they went toward the Arabah.

Parole de Vie © les Babyloniens ont fait un trou dans le mur qui protégeait la ville. La nuit, tous les combattants de Juda ont fui. Les Babyloniens entouraient Jérusalem. Malgré cela, les combattants ont quitté la ville par la porte située entre les deux murs, près du jardin du roi. Ensuite, ils ont pris le chemin qui mène à la vallée du Jourdain.
