World English Bible But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?" In all this Job didn't sin with his lips.

Comme parle une femme insensée, littéralement : comme parle une des insensées. Par la position que tu prends maintenant, tu te ranges au nombre de ces personnes malavisées... L'insensé, c'est celui qui veut ignorer Dieu et qui renie sa foi (Psaumes 14.1).

Par ses lèvres. Ces mots ne s'opposent nullement à de mauvais sentiments qu'il aurait éprouvés, mais qu'il n'aurait pas exprimés ; ils sont écrits en prévision des chapitres 3 et suivants où il lui échappera des paroles qu'il aura lieu de regretter.
