Tu ne fouleras point... Au verset 11, il s'agissait de fraude ; ici, de violence, d'abus de la force ou de la position.

Fouler : détenir ce que l'on doit à l'autre ; dépouiller : arracher à l'autre ce qu'il possède.

Du journalier. Deutéronome 24.15 développe cette recommandation ; le journalier indigent peut avoir besoin de son salaire le jour même. Il y a littéralement : Le salaire du journalier ne passera pas la nuit chez toi.
