Ainsi versets 6 à 8, alliance conclue avec Abraham ; 9 à 5, délivrance d'Egypte ; 16 à 25, désert et conquête ; 26 à 34, infidélités et délivrances répétées, jusqu'à l'exil ; 32 à 37, état présent et soupir après un meilleur avenir.
