Cette alliance, conclue avec lui et avec sa descendance après lui, lui assure pour toujours la fonction de prêtre, parce qu'il a été zélé pour son Dieu et qu'il a fait l'expiation pour les Israélites. »
Elle sera pour lui, pour ses fils et les fils de leurs fils. Elle fait d’eux des prêtres pour toujours. En effet, il a montré qu’il était uniquement attaché à moi, son Dieu. Ainsi, il a obtenu le pardon des péchés pour les Israélites. »
Ce sera pour lui et pour sa postérité après lui l'alliance d'un sacerdoce perpétuel, parce qu'il a été zélé pour son Dieu, et qu'il a fait l'expiation pour les enfants d'Israël.
