Voici qui nous rend attentifs à un point important. D'après notre poète, la femme vaillante peut n'être pas belle, ou ne l'être plus.

Qui sera louée : qui pourra l'être toujours. La louange qui porte sur l'extérieur est éphémère. La crainte de Dieu, voilà une beauté qui résiste à l'action du temps. Elle ne fait même que s'épanouir davantage à mesure que s'accumulent les années.
