La journée que l'Eternel a faite. Le relèvement du temple, image du relèvement d'un peuple qui semblait à jamais perdu, est un tel miracle, que la journée mise à part pour célébrer cet événement porte au plus haut degré le sceau divin. Ce qui est dit ici peut être à plus forte raison du jour de la résurrection du Seigneur, où l'on put voir relevé en trois jours le vrai temple de Dieu, détruit par les hommes (Jean 2.19-21), c'est avec raison que, dans l'Eglise anglicane, ce psaume est envisagé comme un cantique de Pâques.
