Il range..., il met..., il choisit... On s'attendrait à voir ces verbes au passé. Mais la pensée du psalmiste n'est pas de raconter ce qui s'est accompli à tel moment de l'histoire ; elle est bien plutôt d'énumérer, à la gloire de Dieu, tout ce qu'il sait faire, peu importe quand, en faveur de son peuple.
