Car c'est pour cela que Christ est mort et a repris vie, est la leçon de Sin. ; B. A, C.

- D, Itala, Irénée ont : a vécu et est mort et est ressuscité. C'est une correction, née du désir de faire une place à la vie terrestre de Jésus.

- Il a repris vie, (grec) il à vécu ; mais, après : il est mort, ce verbe ne peut s'entendre que de la vie du Christ ressuscité et glorifié.

Par sa mort, Jésus nous a rachetés et acquis à lui. (1Corinthiens 6.19 ; 2Corinthiens 5.14,15) L'empire qu'il a fondé par sa mort, il l'étend par sa vie dans la gloire, par l'action qu'il exerce en se servant de ses disciples pour conquérir le monde. (Matthieu 28.19 ; Ephésiens 4.8 ; Philippiens 2.8-11)

Il est ainsi le Seigneur des morts, de ceux qui ont achevé leur carrière terrestre, et des vivants, de ceux qui poursuivent encore leur course ici-bas.
