A force de subir indifféremment toutes les influences qui agissent sur leur esprit, les simples finissent par prendre rang dans la catégorie des insensés et par être gagnés par cette folie à laquelle ils ont trop complaisamment prêté l'oreille. C'est là un fâcheux héritage, une mauvaise part.
