L'explication la plus simple de ce passage obscur est celle-ci : L'Eternel suscitera sur Israël un roi qui, en ce jour-là, retranchera la maison de Jéroboam. Mais que dis-je : dans ce jour-là ? Déjà maintenant le vengeur est là !
