Le quatrième jour, ils s’assemblèrent dans la vallée de Beraka, où ils bénirent l’Éternel ; c’est pourquoi l’on a appelé cet endroit du nom de vallée de Beraka jusqu’à ce jour.

La vallée de Bénédiction (Beraca), aujourd'hui Wadi Bereikut, large vallée ouverte, à l'ouest de Thékoa, entre cette ville et la route de Jérusalem à Hébron. Cette vallée de Beraca n'était donc pas à une très grande distance du champ de bataille et se prêtait très bien à la célébration d'une fête d'actions de grâces.

C'est très probablement cette vallée de Beraca que le prophète Joël appelle : vallée de Josaphat (Joël 3.2,12), ou vallée de la décision (Joël 3.14) ; comparez la note de Joël 3.2.
