World English Bible The king of the south shall be moved with anger, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north; and he shall set forth a great multitude, and the multitude shall be given into his hand.

Irrité par les succès de son adversaire, Ptolémée Philopator secoua son apathie, entra en campagne et défit complètement Antiochus à la bataille de Raphia (217 avant J-C).
