Le prophète revient ici du règne animal à l'homme.

Ma montagne sainte : la montagne de Sion, Jérusalem, résidence d'Israël converti (2.2 ; 66.20). On n'y fera ni mal ni dégât car il n'y aura plus de méchants ni au dedans, ni en dehors d'elle (voir la fin du verset). Comparez 4.5-6 ; Zacharie 14.20-21.

La terre sera remplie... Comparez Habakuk 2.14. Magnifique image de l'entière victoire de la sainteté divine dans l'humanité ; la troisième demande de l'oraison dominicale sera réalisée. L'accomplissement de cette prophétie s'achemine rapidement de nos jours : on peut entrevoir le moment ou il n'y aura plus un point de la terre où n'existe une église chrétienne.
