On se rappellera alors avec reconnaissance les jours de terreur que l'on a traversés.

Celui qui taxait : le commissaire assyrien qui fixait le tribut à payer.

La balance : pour peser l'or et argent.

Celui qui comptait les tours : assiégeant qui reconnaissait les fortifications de Jérusalem.

Tout ceci est bien pris dans le vif de la situation où parle le prophète.
