Son peuple n'a-t-il donc pas déjà fait l'expérience que rien n'est trop éloigné ou trop difficile pour son pouvoir ou son intelligence ?

Jéhova est un Dieu éternel. Nous conservons ici dans la traduction le mot hébreu Jéhova (rendu d'habitude par l'Eternel), pour éviter la répétition de ce dernier mot. Jéhova est le nom propre du Dieu d'Israël, en opposition aux dieux des autres peuples.
