Esaïe 42.13

World English Bible Yahweh will go out like a mighty man. He will stir up zeal like a man of war. He will raise a war cry. Yes, he will shout aloud. He will triumph over his enemies.

Il faut donner gloire au Dieu d'Israël, car il va triompher des ennemis de son peuple, qui sont les siens, c'est-à-dire des idoles et des idolâtres qui l'oppriment.

L'Éternel apparaîtra dans Sa puissance et dans Sa Gloire. « Il criera » (verset Esaïe 42:13*), en proclamant Sa Parole. Il pleurera à haute voix, annonçant les malheurs à venir, au lieu de prêcher les bénédictions de l'évangile, pour réveiller un monde en sommeil. Il sera un Conquérant, par la puissance de Son Esprit. Ceux qui contredisent et blasphèment Son évangile, seront réduits au silence et à la honte, et ceux qui chercheront à entraver Sa volonté, seront perdus à jamais.

Aux hommes, qui par nature, étaient aveugles, Dieu montrera le chemin de la vie et du bonheur, en Jésus-Christ. S'ils ont de modestes connaissances spirituelles, Il transformera cette « obscurité » en lumière ! S'ils ont du mal à accomplir leur devoir, leur chemin sera aplani, Dieu sera leur Guide.

Si ce texte est une prophétie, il est aussi applicable à chaque Croyant ; le Seigneur ne laissera jamais les Siens, ni ne les Abandonnera !
