Le peuple éternel (44.7) est l'objet d'un salut éternel (Hébreux 9.1). Ce salut ne consiste pas seulement dans le retour de l'exil ; c'est la rédemption parfaite, qui suppose la transformation spirituelle du peuple : sa révolte aura cessé pour toujours, par conséquent il ne retombera plus sous le châtiment.
