World English Bible Sing, heavens; and be joyful, earth; and break forth into singing, mountains: for Yahweh has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.

Que la félicité céleste soit universelle, parce que Dieu, dans Sa grande compassion, fera miséricorde à Ses affligés : tout cela selon Ses engagements !

Nous n'avons pas besoin ne nous interroger davantage sur la véracité de Ses promesses et de Sa Grâce, ni ne devons remettre en cause Sa Providence et Sa Justice. Soyons assurés que Dieu éprouve une tendre affection pour Son église et les Siens ; rien ne saurait Le décourager !

Il arrive que certaines mères négligent leurs enfants ; les compassions de Dieu envers Les Siens sont infiniment supérieures à celles des parents les plus tendres, pour leurs leurs enfants. Tout ceci est gravé sur Sa main, sur Son bras : Cela dénote Son infaillible fidélité !

Tant que nous avons, selon Sa Parole, l'assurance d'appartenir au « troupeau des rachetés », nous pouvons être certains qu'Il ne nous abandonnera jamais.

Soyons donc assurés de notre « appel et de notre élection », et réjouissons-nous dans l'espérance et la Gloire de Dieu !
