« Dis à cette communauté de rebelles : ‘Ne savez-vous pas ce que cela signifie ?’Explique-leur : ‘Le roi de Babylone est venu à Jérusalem, il a capturé son roi et ses chefs et les a emmenés avec lui à Babylone.
—Demande, je te prie, à cette communauté rebelle si elle comprend ce que tout cela signifie. Dis-lui : « Le roi de Babylone est venu à Jérusalem, il a capturé son roi et les chefs de la ville, et les a emmenés chez lui à Babylone.
« Demande à ces gens récalcitrants s’ils ne comprennent pas ce que signifie cette histoire. Rappelle-leur comment le souverain de Babylone est entré à Jérusalem, a capturé le roi et les chefs et les a emmenés dans son pays.

  16 All the men of might, even seven thousand, and the craftsmen and the smiths one thousand, all of them strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
