Il s'agit plutôt de la tiare d'étoffe précieuse sur laquelle reposait la couronne d'or, emblème de la dignité royale. L'enlèvement de ces ornements signifie la destruction de la royauté en Juda. C'est ce qu'expriment énergiquement les mots suivants : tout sera changé ; littéralement : Ceci ne sera plus ceci ; parole qui est expliquée par les mots suivants : abaisser ce qui est bas ; abaisser ce qui est haut.
