Je te disperserai. La ville de Jérusalem est ici confondue avec ses habitants. L'exil était le dernier degré du châtiment dont Dieu avait menacé son peuple infidèle ; Deutéronome 28.64-68.

J'enlèverai de toi toute ta souillure. C'est ici la purification par le châtiment de l'exil ; Esaïe 4.4.

Chez toi : en ce sens que la terre de Juda, privée de ses habitants et livrée aux païens, apparaîtra à tous comme un sol que Dieu lui-même a profané.
