L'impression pénible du prophète provient de l'opposition entre ce qu'il vient de quitter et ce qu'il va retrouver.

Etait ferme sur moi : ne me lâchait pas. Ces mots expriment l'action énergique de Dieu, qui triomphait de la répugnance de la chair, chez le prophète.
