Qu'ont à faire ici ces peuples marchands dont il a été parlé 27.20-25 (voir notes), et, quelle est l'intention de la question qu'Ezéchiel met dans leur bouche ? Nous ne pouvons nous l'expliquer, qu'en supposant que leurs caravanes et leurs flottes arrivent pour acheter le butin qu'auront fait ces pillards et aller le revendre ailleurs, comparez Joël 3.4-6,8,19, et Amos 1.6-9, ou un office semblable est attribué aux Edomites, aux Phéniciens et aux Sabéens.

Tous ses lionceaux : les marchands qui se livrent à ce trafic.
