Se prosterna sur le chevet du lit. Il était assis dans son lit ; il se prosterne la tête inclinée sur le chevet, et il rend grâces à Dieu de ce que tous ses vœux sont maintenant accomplis. Les LXX lisant les consonnes du texte hébreu avec d'autres voyelles (matté, bâton, au lieu de mitté, chevet), traduisent : Il adora sur l'extrémité de son bâton. C'est d'après eux que le passage est cité Hébreux 11.21
