Il a donné ses instructions quant à l'endroit où il voulait être enseveli ; il a parlé par la foi, selon la promesse de Dieu : Canaan devrait être l'héritage pour sa descendance, au temps marqué. Quand sa bénédiction, ses directives et son testament furent donnés, il sentit que la mort approchait. Il retira ses pieds dans le lit, non pas avec un sentiment de crainte, mais dans la paix, en prévision du repos qui l'attendait. Il a donné ses instructions quant à l'endroit où il voulait être enseveli ; il a parlé par la foi, selon la promesse de Dieu : Canaan devrait être l'héritage pour sa descendance, au temps marqué. Quand sa bénédiction, ses directives et son testament furent donnés, il sentit que la mort approchait. Il retira ses pieds dans le lit, non pas avec un sentiment de crainte, mais dans la paix, en prévision du repos qui l'attendait. Il a librement remis son esprit dans la main de Dieu, son Père spirituel.Si nous faisons partie du peuple de Dieu, la mort finira par nous rassembler, tous ensemble, là où nous serons recueillis. Sous la protection du Berger d'Israël, nous ne manquerons de rien, que ce soit pour le corps ou l'âme. Nous resterons ici-bas jusqu'à ce que notre tâche soit accomplie ; puis, remettant notre âme entre Ses mains, par le biais du salut qui était notre espérance, nous partirons en paix, et laissant une bénédiction pour nos enfants, après nous ! Il a donné ses instructions quant à l'endroit où il voulait être enseveli ; il a parlé par la foi, selon la promesse de Dieu : Canaan devrait être l'héritage pour sa descendance, au temps marqué. Quand sa bénédiction, ses directives et son testament furent donnés, il sentit que la mort approchait. Il retira ses pieds dans le lit, non pas avec un sentiment de crainte, mais dans la paix, en prévision du repos qui l'attendait.
