Aaron mourut là. Le Deutéronome ajoute (Deutéronome 10.6) qu'il y fut enterré, sans doute par Moïse, puisque Eléazar, comme souverain sacrificateur, ne pouvait toucher à la dépouille mortelle de son père (Lévitique 21.11). Voir note, verset 1.
