Le nom de chrétien, (Actes 11.26 ; 26.28) dont tout le monde se glorifie aujourd'hui, était alors une injure.

Mais comme il était donné aux croyants en haine du beau nom de Christ, l'apôtre engage ses frères à s'en faire gloire et à rendre grâces à Dieu de ce qu'ils partageaient l'opprobre de leur Sauveur. (Actes 5.41)

- Le texte reçu porte : "qu'il glorifie Dieu à cet égard, ou en cette partie" de la souffrance.

Le vrai texte (Sin., B. A) porte : (grec) en ce nom-là, le nom de chrétien, qui est celui de Christ, l'Oint de l'Eternel.
