World English Bible I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in my heart and in my mind. I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before my anointed forever.

Ce verset ne peut s'appliquer ni à Samuel (une maison stable), ni au Messie (devant mon oint, le roi théocratique), il faut y voir la promesse du rétablissement de la sacrificature entière et stable durant l'époque des Rois telle qu'elle a fonctionné dans le Tabernacle restauré et dans le temple depuis David et Salomon.
