      1 Or, comme il y a eu de faux prophètes parmi le peuple, il y aura aussi parmi vous de faux docteurs, qui introduiront secrètement des sectes pernicieuses, et qui, reniant le Seigneur qui les a rachetés, attireront sur eux-mêmes une perdition soudaine.

      2 Et plusieurs suivront leurs doctrines de perdition, et la voie de la vérité sera blasphémée à cause d'eux.

      3 Et par cupidité ils trafiqueront de vous au moyen de paroles trompeuses ; mais depuis longtemps leur condamnation ne s'arrête point, et leur perdition ne sommeille point.

      4 Car si Dieu n'a pas épargné les anges qui avaient péché, mais si, les ayant précipités dans l'abîme, liés avec des chaînes d'obscurité, il les a livrés pour y être gardés en vue du jugement ;

      5 Et s'il n'a point épargné l'ancien monde, et s'il a préservé Noé, lui huitième, le prédicateur de la justice, lorsqu'il a envoyé le déluge sur le monde des impies ;

      6 Et si, réduisant en cendres les villes de Sodome et de Gomorrhe, il les a condamnées à la destruction, les donnant en exemple à ceux qui vivraient dans l'impiété ;

      7 Et s'il a délivré le juste Lot, qui souffrait de la conduite infâme de ces abominables ;

      8 (Car ce juste, qui demeurait parmi eux, affligeait chaque jour son âme juste, à cause de ce qu'il voyait et apprenait de leurs méchantes actions).

      9 Le Seigneur saura délivrer de l'épreuve ceux qui l'honorent, et garder les injustes pour être punis au jour du jugement ;

      10 Principalement ceux qui suivent la chair, dans la convoitise de l'impureté, et qui méprisent la domination, audacieux, arrogants, et qui ne craignent point d'injurier les dignités,

      11 Tandis que les anges, quoique plus grands en force et en puissance, ne portent point contre elles de jugement injurieux devant le Seigneur.

      12 Mais ceux-ci, comme des animaux sans raison, qui ne suivent que la nature, nés pour être pris et détruits, blasphémant ce qu'ils n'entendent point, périront par leur propre corruption, recevant le salaire de leur iniquité.

      13 Ils aiment à être tous les jours dans les délices ; ce sont des taches et des souillures ; ils prennent plaisir dans leurs tromperies, lorsqu'ils mangent avec vous ;

      14 Ils ont les yeux pleins d'adultère, et qui ne cessent de pécher ; ils amorcent les âmes mal affermies ; ils ont le coeur exercé à l'avarice ; ce sont des enfants de malédiction,

      15 Qui, ayant quitté le droit chemin, se sont égarés, en suivant la voie de Balaam, fils de Bosor, qui aima le salaire de l'iniquité, mais qui fut repris de son injustice ;

      16 Une ânesse muette, parlant d'une voix humaine, réprima la folie du prophète.

      17 Ce sont des fontaines sans eau, des nuées agitées par un tourbillon ; et l'obscurité des ténèbres leur est réservée pour l'éternité.

      18 Car en tenant des discours enflés de vanité, ils amorcent, par les convoitises de la chair et les impudicités, les personnes qui s'étaient véritablement éloignées de ceux qui vivent dans l'égarement ;

      19 Leur promettant la liberté, quoiqu'ils soient eux-mêmes esclaves de la corruption ; car on devient esclave de celui par lequel on est vaincu.

      20 En effet si, après avoir fui les souillures du monde, par la connaissance du Seigneur et Sauveur Jésus-Christ, ils s'y engagent de nouveau et sont vaincus, leur dernière condition devient pire que la première.

      21 Car il leur eût mieux valu de n'avoir point connu la voie de la justice, que de se détourner, après l'avoir connue, du saint commandement qui leur avait été donné.

      22 Mais il leur est arrivé selon ce proverbe vrai : Le chien est retourné à ce qu'il avait vomi, et la truie, après avoir été lavée, s'est vautrée dans le bourbier.

      1 Ἐγένοντο δὲ καὶ ψευδοπροφῆται ἐν τῷ λαῷ, ὡς καὶ ἐν ὑμῖν ἔσονται ψευδοδιδάσκαλοι, οἵτινες παρεισάξουσιν αἱρέσεις ἀπωλείας, καὶ τὸν ἀγοράσαντα αὐτοὺς δεσπότην ἀρνούμενοι, ἐπάγοντες ἑαυτοῖς ταχινὴν ἀπώλειαν·

      2 καὶ πολλοὶ ἐξακολουθήσουσιν αὐτῶν ταῖς ἀσελγείαις, δι’ οὓς ἡ ὁδὸς τῆς ἀληθείας βλασφημηθήσεται·

      3 καὶ ἐν πλεονεξίᾳ πλαστοῖς λόγοις ὑμᾶς ἐμπορεύσονται· οἷς τὸ κρίμα ἔκπαλαι οὐκ ἀργεῖ, καὶ ἡ ἀπώλεια αὐτῶν οὐ νυστάζει.

      4 Εἰ γὰρ ὁ θεὸς ἀγγέλων ἁμαρτησάντων οὐκ ἐφείσατο, ἀλλὰ σειραῖς ζόφου ταρταρώσας παρέδωκεν εἰς κρίσιν τηρουμένους,

      5 καὶ ἀρχαίου κόσμου οὐκ ἐφείσατο, ἀλλὰ ὄγδοον Νῶε δικαιοσύνης κήρυκα ἐφύλαξεν, κατακλυσμὸν κόσμῳ ἀσεβῶν ἐπάξας,

      6 καὶ πόλεις Σοδόμων καὶ Γομόρρας τεφρώσας καταστροφῇ κατέκρινεν, ὑπόδειγμα μελλόντων ἀσεβέσιν τεθεικώς,

      7 καὶ δίκαιον Λὼτ καταπονούμενον ὑπὸ τῆς τῶν ἀθέσμων ἐν ἀσελγείᾳ ἀναστροφῆς ἐρρύσατο—

      8 βλέμματι γὰρ καὶ ἀκοῇ ὁ δίκαιος ἐγκατοικῶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἡμέραν ἐξ ἡμέρας ψυχὴν δικαίαν ἀνόμοις ἔργοις ἐβασάνιζεν—

      9 οἶδεν κύριος εὐσεβεῖς ἐκ πειρασμοῦ ῥύεσθαι, ἀδίκους δὲ εἰς ἡμέραν κρίσεως κολαζομένους τηρεῖν,

      10 μάλιστα δὲ τοὺς ὀπίσω σαρκὸς ἐν ἐπιθυμίᾳ μιασμοῦ πορευομένους καὶ κυριότητος καταφρονοῦντας. Τολμηταὶ, αὐθάδεις, δόξας οὐ τρέμουσιν, βλασφημοῦντες,

      11 ὅπου ἄγγελοι ἰσχύϊ καὶ δυνάμει μείζονες ὄντες οὐ φέρουσιν κατ’ αὐτῶν βλάσφημον κρίσιν.

      12 οὗτοι δέ, ὡς ἄλογα ζῷα γεγεννημένα φυσικὰ εἰς ἅλωσιν καὶ φθοράν, ἐν οἷς ἀγνοοῦσιν βλασφημοῦντες, ἐν τῇ φθορᾷ αὐτῶν καὶ φθαρήσονται,

      13 ἀδικούμενοι μισθὸν ἀδικίας· ἡδονὴν ἡγούμενοι τὴν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ τρυφήν, σπίλοι καὶ μῶμοι ἐντρυφῶντες ἐν ταῖς ἀπάταις αὐτῶν συνευωχούμενοι ὑμῖν,

      14 ὀφθαλμοὺς ἔχοντες μεστοὺς μοιχαλίδος καὶ ἀκαταπαύστους ἁμαρτίας, δελεάζοντες ψυχὰς ἀστηρίκτους, καρδίαν γεγυμνασμένην πλεονεξίας ἔχοντες, κατάρας τέκνα,

      15 καταλιπόντες εὐθεῖαν ὁδὸν ἐπλανήθησαν, ἐξακολουθήσαντες τῇ ὁδῷ τοῦ Βαλαὰμ τοῦ Βοσὸρ ὃς μισθὸν ἀδικίας ἠγάπησεν

      16 ἔλεγξιν δὲ ἔσχεν ἰδίας παρανομίας· ὑποζύγιον ἄφωνον ἐν ἀνθρώπου φωνῇ φθεγξάμενον ἐκώλυσεν τὴν τοῦ προφήτου παραφρονίαν.

      17 Οὗτοί εἰσιν πηγαὶ ἄνυδροι καὶ ὁμίχλαι ὑπὸ λαίλαπος ἐλαυνόμεναι, οἷς ὁ ζόφος τοῦ σκότους τετήρηται.

      18 ὑπέρογκα γὰρ ματαιότητος φθεγγόμενοι δελεάζουσιν ἐν ἐπιθυμίαις σαρκὸς ἀσελγείαις τοὺς ὀλίγως ἀποφεύγοντας τοὺς ἐν πλάνῃ ἀναστρεφομένους,

      19 ἐλευθερίαν αὐτοῖς ἐπαγγελλόμενοι, αὐτοὶ δοῦλοι ὑπάρχοντες τῆς φθορᾶς· ᾧ γάρ τις ἥττηται, τούτῳ καὶ δεδούλωται.

      20 εἰ γὰρ ἀποφυγόντες τὰ μιάσματα τοῦ κόσμου ἐν ἐπιγνώσει τοῦ κυρίου καὶ σωτῆρος Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τούτοις δὲ πάλιν ἐμπλακέντες ἡττῶνται, γέγονεν αὐτοῖς τὰ ἔσχατα χείρονα τῶν πρώτων.

      21 κρεῖττον γὰρ ἦν αὐτοῖς μὴ ἐπεγνωκέναι τὴν ὁδὸν τῆς δικαιοσύνης ἢ ἐπιγνοῦσιν ὑποστρέψαι ἐκ τῆς παραδοθείσης αὐτοῖς ἁγίας ἐντολῆς·

      22 συμβέβηκεν αὐτοῖς τὸ τῆς ἀληθοῦς παροιμίας· Κύων ἐπιστρέψας ἐπὶ τὸ ἴδιον ἐξέραμα, καί· Ὗς λουσαμένη εἰς κυλισμὸν βορβόρου.

      2 Plusieurs les suivront dans leurs dissolutions, et la voie de la vérité sera calomniée à cause d'eux.

      3 Par cupidité, ils trafiqueront de vous au moyen de paroles trompeuses, eux que menace depuis longtemps la condamnation, et dont la ruine ne sommeille point.

      4 Car, si Dieu n'a pas épargné les anges qui ont péché, mais s'il les a précipités dans les abîmes de ténèbres et les réserve pour le jugement ;

      5 s'il n'a pas épargné l'ancien monde, mais s'il a sauvé Noé, lui huitième, ce prédicateur de la justice, lorsqu'il fit venir le déluge sur un monde d'impies ;

      6 s'il a condamné à la destruction et réduit en cendres les villes de Sodome et de Gomorrhe, les donnant comme exemple aux impies à venir,

      7 et s'il a délivré le juste Lot, profondément attristé de la conduite de ces hommes sans frein dans leur dissolution

      8 (car ce juste, qui habitait au milieu d'eux, tourmentait journellement son âme juste à cause de ce qu'il voyait et entendait de leurs oeuvres criminelles) ;

      9 le Seigneur sait délivrer de l'épreuve les hommes pieux, et réserver les injustes pour êtres punis au jour du jugement,

      10 ceux surtout qui vont après la chair dans un désir d'impureté et qui méprisent l'autorité. Audacieux et arrogants, ils ne craignent pas d'injurier les gloires,

      11 tandis que les anges, supérieurs en force et en puissance, ne portent pas contre elles de jugement injurieux devant le Seigneur.

      12 Mais eux, semblables à des brutes qui s'abandonnent à leurs penchants naturels et qui sont nées pour êtres prises et détruites, ils parlent d'une manière injurieuse de ce qu'ils ignorent, et ils périront par leur propre corruption,

      13 recevant ainsi le salaire de leur iniquité. Ils trouvent leurs délices à se livrer au plaisir en plein jour ; hommes tarés et souillés, ils se délectent dans leurs tromperies, en faisant bonne chère avec vous.

      14 Ils ont les yeux pleins d'adultère et insatiables de péché ; ils amorcent les âmes mal affermies ; ils ont le coeur exercé à la cupidité ; ce sont des enfants de malédiction.

      15 Après avoir quitté le droit chemin, ils se sont égarés en suivant la voie de Balaam, fils de Bosor, qui aima le salaire de l'iniquité,

      16 mais qui fut repris pour sa transgression : une ânesse muette, faisant entendre une voix d'homme, arrêta la démence du prophète.

      17 Ces gens-là sont des fontaines sans eau, des nuées que chasse un tourbillon : l'obscurité des ténèbres leur est réservée.

      18 Avec des discours enflés de vanité, ils amorcent par les convoitises de la chair, par les dissolutions, ceux qui viennent à peine d'échapper aux hommes qui vivent dans l'égarement ;

      19 ils leur promettent la liberté, quand ils sont eux-mêmes esclaves de la corruption, car chacun est esclave de ce qui a triomphé de lui.

      1 But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.

      2 Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.

      3 In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn't linger, and their destruction will not slumber.

      4 For if God didn't spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus , and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved for judgment;

      5 and didn't spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood on the world of the ungodly;

      6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly;

      7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked

      8 (for that righteous man dwelling among them, was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds):

      9 the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment;

      10 but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries;

      11 whereas angels, though greater in might and power, don't bring a railing judgment against them before the Lord.

      12 But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,

      13 receiving the wages of unrighteousness; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and blemishes, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you;

      14 having eyes full of adultery, and who can't cease from sin; enticing unsettled souls; having a heart trained in greed; children of cursing;

      15 forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing;

      16 but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A mute donkey spoke with a man's voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.

      17 These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.

      18 For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;

      19 promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.

      20 For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.

      21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.

      22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, "The dog turns to his own vomit again," and "the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire."

      Deutéronome 13

      1 If there arise in the midst of you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he give you a sign or a wonder,
      2 and the sign or the wonder come to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, "Let us go after other gods" (which you have not known) "and let us serve them";
      3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams: for Yahweh your God proves you, to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

      Deutéronome 32

      6 Do you thus requite Yahweh, foolish people and unwise? Isn't he your father who has bought you? He has made you, and established you.

      1 Rois 18

      19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel to Mount Carmel, and four hundred fifty of the prophets of Baal, and four hundred of the prophets of the Asherah, who eat at Jezebel's table."
      20 So Ahab sent to all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together to Mount Carmel.
      21 Elijah came near to all the people, and said, "How long will you waver between the two sides? If Yahweh is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him." The people answered him not a word.
      22 Then Elijah said to the people, "I, even I only, am left a prophet of Yahweh; but Baal's prophets are four hundred fifty men.

      1 Rois 22

      6 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, "Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?" They said, "Go up; for the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king."

      Néhémie 6

      12 I discerned, and behold, God had not sent him; but he pronounced this prophecy against me. Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
      13 He hired so that I would be afraid, do so, and sin, and that they might have material for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
      14 "Remember, my God, Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and also the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear."

      Esaïe 9

      15 The elder and the honorable man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail.

      Esaïe 56

      10 His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they can't bark; dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.
      11 Yes, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds who can't understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.

      Jérémie 14

      13 Then I said, Ah, Lord Yahweh! behold, the prophets tell them, You shall not see the sword, neither shall you have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
      14 Then Yahweh said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I didn't send them, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke I to them: they prophesy to you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.
      15 Therefore thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, and I didn't send them, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land: By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

      Jérémie 23

      16 Thus says Yahweh of Armies, Don't listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you: they teach you vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh.
      17 They say continually to those who despise me, Yahweh has said, You shall have peace; and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, No evil shall come on you.
      25 I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
      26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?
      27 who think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name for Baal.
      28 The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? says Yahweh.
      29 Isn't my word like fire? says Yahweh; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
      30 Therefore behold, I am against the prophets, says Yahweh, who steal my words everyone from his neighbor.
      31 Behold, I am against the prophets, says Yahweh, who use their tongues, and say, He says.
      32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says Yahweh, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting: yet I didn't send them, nor commanded them; neither do they profit this people at all, says Yahweh.

      Jérémie 27

      14 Don't listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon; for they prophesy a lie to you.
      15 For I have not sent them, says Yahweh, but they prophesy falsely in my name; that I may drive you out, and that you may perish, you, and the prophets who prophesy to you.

      Jérémie 28

      15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah: Yahweh has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.
      16 Therefore thus says Yahweh, Behold, I will send you away from off the surface of the earth: this year you shall die, because you have spoken rebellion against Yahweh.
      17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

      Jérémie 29

      8 For thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Don't let your prophets who are in the midst of you, and your diviners, deceive you; neither listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.
      9 For they prophesy falsely to you in my name: I have not sent them, says Yahweh.
      31 Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus says Yahweh concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I didn't send him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie;
      32 therefore thus says Yahweh, Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed; he shall not have a man to dwell among this people, neither shall he see the good that I will do to my people, says Yahweh, because he has spoken rebellion against Yahweh.

      Jérémie 37

      19 Where now are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?

      Lamentations 2

      14 Your prophets have seen for you false and foolish visions; They have not uncovered your iniquity, to bring back your captivity, but have seen for you false oracles and causes of banishment.

      Ezéchiel 13

      3 Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
      4 Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
      5 You have not gone up into the gaps, neither built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Yahweh.
      6 They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, Yahweh says; but Yahweh has not sent them: and they have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
      7 Haven't you seen a false vision, and haven't you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, Yahweh says; but I have not spoken?
      8 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have spoken falsehood, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord Yahweh.
      9 My hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
      10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash:
      11 tell those who plaster it with whitewash, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it.
      12 Behold, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?
      13 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
      14 So will I break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and you shall be consumed in its midst: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
      15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash; and I will tell you, The wall is no more, neither those who plastered it;
      16 to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord Yahweh.
      17 You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,
      18 and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the women who sew pillows on all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?

      Osée 9

      8 A prophet watches over Ephraim with my God. A fowler's snare is on all of his paths, and hostility in the house of his God.

      Michée 2

      11 If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies: "I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink"; he would be the prophet of this people.

      Michée 3

      5 Thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets who lead my people astray; for those who feed their teeth, they proclaim, "Peace!" and whoever doesn't provide for their mouths, they prepare war against him:
      11 Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money: yet they lean on Yahweh, and say, "Isn't Yahweh in the midst of us? No disaster will come on us."

      Zacharie 13

      3 It will happen that, when anyone still prophesies, then his father and his mother who bore him will tell him, 'You must die, because you speak lies in the name of Yahweh;' and his father and his mother who bore him will stab him when he prophesies.
      4 It will happen in that day, that the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision, when he prophesies; neither will they wear a hairy mantle to deceive:

      Malachie 3

      5 I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don't fear me," says Yahweh of Armies.

      Matthieu 7

      15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.

      Matthieu 10

      33 But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

      Matthieu 24

      5 For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will lead many astray.
      11 Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.
      24 For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

      Marc 13

      22 For there will arise false christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

      Luc 6

      26 Woe, when men speak well of you, for their fathers did the same thing to the false prophets.

      Luc 12

      9 but he who denies me in the presence of men will be denied in the presence of the angels of God.

      Luc 21

      8 He said, "Watch out that you don't get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he ,' and, 'The time is at hand.' Therefore don't follow them.

      Actes 3

      13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
      14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

      Actes 20

      28 Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.
      29 For I know that after my departure, vicious wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
      30 Men will arise from among your own selves, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.

      Romains 16

      18 For those who are such don't serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent.

      1 Corinthiens 6

      20 for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

      1 Corinthiens 7

      23 You were bought with a price. Don't become bondservants of men.

      1 Corinthiens 11

      19 For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.

      2 Corinthiens 11

      13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ's apostles.
      14 And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.
      15 It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

      Galates 2

      4 This was because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who stole in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage;

      Galates 3

      13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"

      Galates 4

      17 They zealously seek you in no good way. No, they desire to alienate you, that you may seek them.

      Galates 5

      20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,

      Ephésiens 1

      7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

      Ephésiens 4

      14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

      Philippiens 3

      19 whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.

      Colossiens 2

      8 Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ.
      18 Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

      2 Thessaloniciens 2

      3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction,
      4 he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
      5 Don't you remember that, when I was still with you, I told you these things?
      6 Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.
      7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.
      8 Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;
      9 even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
      10 and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn't receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
