Apocalypse 21.12

Les grandes et hautes murailles étaient percées de douze portes gardées par douze anges et portant gravés les noms des douze tribus d’Israël.
Les murs de la ville sont hauts et épais. La ville a 12 portes, et 12 anges les gardent. Sur les portes, des noms sont écrits, ce sont les noms des 12 tribus du peuple d’Israël.

Ce luminaire brille comme une pierre de jaspe, image qui servait déjà dans Apocalypse 4.3 à caractériser l'aspect de celui qui était assis sur le trône.
