Au milieu du trône ne veut pas dire accroupis sous le trône. Peut être faut-il se représenter le trône en forme de demi cercle : l'un des êtres vivants se tient devant, au milieu ; deux autres à chaque extrémité, et le quatrième derrière ; ils sont ainsi tout autour. Si le trône était carré, l'auteur voudrait dire qu'il y en avait un de chaque côté, et qu'il se tenait au milieu du côté.
