World English Bible For, behold, Yahweh comes forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also will disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.

Les premiers mots se retrouvent Michée 1.3.

La terre découvrira le sang... Comme la terre a ouvert sa bouche pour recevoir le sang du premier juste (Genèse 4.11), elle garde en tout temps le sang répandu, et elle rendra, au jour du jugement, les cadavres de ceux qu'on a mis à mort, comme d'irrécusables témoins contre les coupables. Comparez Ezéchiel 24.7-8 ; Apocalypse 6.9-10 ; 20.13.
