L’Eternel fera retentir sa voix majestueuse et l’on verra son bras s’abattre dans le déchaînement de sa colère et dans l’embrasement de son feu qui consume, du sein de la tornade, de la tempête et de la grêle.

World English Bible Yahweh will cause his glorious voice to be heard, and will show the descent of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, storm, and hailstones.

La voix de l'Eternel est le tonnerre (29.6 ; Psaumes 29.1-11).

Son bras qui s'abaisse : pour frapper (verset 31). Comparez 11.15.

La grêle : littéralement les pierres de grêle, les grêlons. Le prophète revient à l'image de l'orage (verset 27) : tonnerre, éclairs, averses, grêle. On connaît, en Orient, des grêles qui renversent les maisons et anéantissent une localité. Comparez Josué 10.11.
