World English Bible Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, "That is true."

Les Gentils sont convoqués comme 41.1, afin que, s'ils le peuvent, ils déclarent que leurs dieux en ont fait autant.

Qui parmi eux : parmi les faux dieux. Le mot cela désigne les événements qui vont s'accomplir, la chute de Babylone et la délivrance des Juifs (verset 14).

Des prédictions anciennes : des prophéties données autrefois par les idoles et attestées par ceux qui les ont entendues ; voyez 41.22,26.
