Parfois, nous devrions être à même de refuser des avantages facilement accessibles, de peur de faire trébucher certaines personnes de notre entourage, et de voir ainsi notre Dieu déshonoré.Demandons à Dieu Sa sagesse, afin de pouvoir discerner quelle voie prendre, même dans les affaires tout à fait honnêtes. Nous ne serons jamais perdants à être zélés, à souffrir, voire à renoncer à certains projets, dans l'intérêt du Seigneur. Les prières des enfants d'Israël, quant au chemin qu'ils devaient suivre, furent exaucées. Ne cherchez jamais Dieu, si ce n'est pas de tout votre cœur, sinon vous Le chercherez en vain.
