Moïse l'a emporté : Ma face ira. Ce terme ma face désigne l'ange que Dieu lui avait promis au commencement pour conducteur (23.20-21), celui dans lequel est son nom, en qui il révèle son essence. Voir Genèse, appendice à la fin du chapitre 21. C'est celui qui porte dans Esaïe 53.9 le titre d'Ange de la face.

Je te mettrai en repos : Je ne t'abandonnerai point que tu n'aies accompli la tâche.
