Il y a ici un détail qui n'est pas donné plus haut. Ces femmes se réunissaient probablement à l'entrée du sanctuaire, pour y remplir certains offices relatifs au culte, chant, chœurs, processions sacrées (Juges 21.21 ; Luc 2.37).

Miroirs. Les femmes égyptiennes, quand elles visitaient un de leurs sanctuaires, s'avançaient aussi en troupes, un sistre à la main droite et un miroir à la main gauche.
