Exode 7.9

Quand le Pharaon vous parlera, en disant : Montrez pour vous un miracle, tu diras à Aaron : Prends ta verge, et jette-la devant le Pharaon : elle deviendra un serpent.
« Si le roi d’Égypte vous demande de faire une action extraordinaire, toi, Moïse, tu diras à Aaron de prendre son bâton. Qu’il le jette par terre devant le roi ! Le bâton deviendra alors un serpent. »

      Exode 4

      2 Yahweh said to him, "What is that in your hand?" He said, "A rod."
      17 You shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs."
      20 Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. Moses took God's rod in his hand.

      Exode 7

      9 "When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, 'Perform a miracle!' then you shall tell Aaron, 'Take your rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it become a serpent.'"
      10 Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
      11 Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers. They also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same thing with their enchantments.
      12 For they each cast down their rods, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

      Exode 9

      23 Moses stretched out his rod toward the heavens, and Yahweh sent thunder, hail, and lightning flashed down to the earth. Yahweh rained hail on the land of Egypt.

      Exode 10

      13 Moses stretched out his rod over the land of Egypt, and Yahweh brought an east wind on the land all that day, and all the night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
