Vos colonnes solaires : soit des colonnes élevées à l'honneur du soleil, qui, comme les obélisques, en figuraient les rayons ; soit des statues de Baal, cette divinité phénicienne qui n'était autre que le soleil personnifié. Le premier sens est plus probable.

Devant vos idoles ; littéralement : devant vos souches.
