La restauration du culte cérémonial est présentée ici, non comme la condition de la restauration future, mais comme une glorieuse promesse. C'est un privilège que de rendre à Dieu l'hommage du culte.

Jérusalem redeviendra alors le centre religieux de toutes les contrées environnantes. La même énumération des districts du royaume de Juda se retrouve 32.44 :

  1. la contrée là plus voisine de Jérusalem
  2. Benjamin,ou le district septentrional
  3. Séphéla, la plaine occidentale le long de la Méditerranée, de Joppé à Gaza
  4. la montagne, le centre du pays de Juda (Hébron)
  5. le midi, les confins du désert (Béerséba)

Cette parole, déjà citée précédemment à propos de 7.22, prouve bien que dans ce dernier passage Jérémie n'entendait nullement condamner les sacrifices comme tels.

Actions de grâces : ce sera le sentiment qui inspirera toutes ces cérémonies. Les sacrifices sont partagés, ici comme dans la loi, en offrandes sanglantes et non sanglantes.
