Azaria, fils de Hosaïa, probablement le même personnage que Jézania, fils de Hosaïa, 42.1. Il était nommé dans ce passage après Johanan, et, 40.8, le dernier parmi les chefs. Il s'était donc peu à peu poussé à la tête des affaires. Ainsi s'explique peut-être le changement de ton du prophète.
