Littéralement : Misère et honte est qui repousse l'instruction. Celui-là devient le type de la misère. 10.17 et 13.4 nous ont déjà présenté une tournure pareille, et nous la retrouverons encore 14.35. Pour la pensée, voir 12.4 ; 15.5,32. Non seulement misère, mais aussi honte, car il aura été le propre artisan de son malheur.
