Avoir égard à la personne du méchant : lui donner raison, parce qu'il est influent.

En faisant fléchir, et non pas : pour faire fléchir. Le but n'est pas de faire tort au juste, mais on ne peut faire des faveurs au coupable qu'au détriment du juste.
