Les étrangers. La loi les recommandait, en même temps que la veuve et l'orphelin, à la bienveillance du peuple (voir Psaumes 94.6, note).

Il fait dévier... Si sûre que paraisse cette voie, et si habilement combinée qu'elle soit, il se trouve qu'elle aboutit à des impasses et à la ruine. De même que, tendant sa main aux siens, Dieu les conduit parmi tous les empêchements, voire même par les lieux où il n'y a point de chemin, ainsi d'autre part il rompra les chemins ouverts et bien tracés des réprouvés (Calvin).
