7 à 10 La certitude de la victoire est exprimée brièvement dans une première strophe (verset 7) et avec plus de développements dans une seconde (versets 8 et 9).

Maintenant je sais. La prière vient de monter à Dieu. Par la foi, le peuple s'empare à l'avance de l'exaucement. Il ne s'adresse plus au roi, pour lui présenter ses vœux, mais il parle de lui comme d'un vainqueur. Il n'est pas nécessaire de conclure du singulier : Je sais, que c'est une voix seule qui entonne cette partie du chant : le peuple parle ici collectivement.

Les éclatantes délivrances, hébreu : les hauts faits ou les actes de puissance accomplis par ta droite pour notre salut. Chaque armée a ses grands guerriers dont on célèbre les actes de valeur. Le héros d'Israël est l'Eternel. Cette pensée fraie la voie à la strophe suivante.
