Quand tu sortis : comme un chef d'armée. Cette strophe reprend la pensée initiale du psaume (verset 2), en reproduisant les termes du cantique de Débora (Juges 5.4).

Jeu d'instruments. La vision de l'Eternel s'avançant à la tête de son peuple saisit tellement le psalmiste, qu'il s'interrompt, pour laisser les instruments de musique donner une impression de la grandeur de cette intervention.

      Exode 19
